I just wanted to post that a really good friend of mine has just opened a shop on etsy she makes shirts and skirts and purses and clever cushions! I personally own most of the things in her shop because her stuff suits my style to a tea! Anyway please check her store out .

Tea, oh for the love of tea! I have mentioned before i have a wee addiction to tea, it is something that just rounds out the day. I have compiled a few of my favourite tea related things to share with you: Lots of craft tea swaps , tea cozies here and here, flickr faves here and here, lovely teapots, tea shops and with tea in hand you can curl up with these blankets. Happy Valentines Day, hope everyone is having a good day filled with all the things you love! Just a few things that i have been meaning to post about, anyone in the toronto area who like me never finds out till its too late about craft events will be happy to hear about Toronto Craft Alert a great blog about what craftastic stuff is happening here in our city! Hurray! My current craft ablilites have been lack lately but with all the inspiration just flying my way these days i am sure to be adding to the craft part of this blog.

Its tuesday so that means you get another self portrait, this week its me at about 6 or 7 as cyndi lauper i loved her then and still do now. I saw Cyndi on tv today so i was reminded of this photo.

Sorry for my lack of posting, the weather here has been fantastic so we've been outside everyday, and i have the spring cleaning vibe, well if i get it done now i wont spend the real spring inside cleaning!

ladies in the bike lane

Just a quick post about a video i found via ladies in the bike lane its a short documentary (8 mins) about girl bike messengers, by Ashira Siegel. Its called Even the Girls (the link is posted in the comments) and its great! I've always had secret wannabe thoughts of becoming a bicycle messenger, but to be completly honest i'm still a little afraid of the traffic.

Self Portrait Tuesday (personal history)

Self portrait tuesday is a great way to start a new blog. That was me around 1982, very chatty, very excitable with wild curly hair. Fast forward 23 years and i'm still the same, and i have my very own little chatty excitable, curly headed three year old. Thank you for coming and reading my blog, this is going to be a place where i can share my crafting, bicycle adventures, my photos, tales of motherhood and all other life stuff.
